I often travel from Stourbridge Junction into Birmingham Snow Hill station on the 0937 train which originates from Kidderminster and is generally quite full, using my Centro Senior’s travel card.
However the train before this one is the 0927 starting from Stourbridge and going through to Stratford upon Avon and is announced as a “Peak Time Train”.
By the time the train reaches Lye at 0930 it then becomes an “Off Peak Service” with hardly any passengers joining there. Surely with so many passengers joining the 0937 at Stourbridge, a little more flexibility on behalf of London Midland would be welcome enabling those passengers to travel on the slightly earlier train and being able to occupy a seat and thus avoid congestion.
With the cold winter months looming ahead, surely this would not be too much to ask.
