As a local councillor, UKIP’s Parliamentary Candidate in Dudley South, I want to attract greater trade into Park Street by campaigning for a sign to be installed in the area to promote shopping and business.
I live in Kingswinford, and there is a clear need to increase footfall in Park Street. This could be achieved by the local authority through installing a sign to encourage people to go down Park Street to shop.
I am proud to live in Kingswinford and one of the shops in Park Street is where my parents used to buy my school uniforms from so I am very keen to support trade in the area through this simple, businessfriendly idea. It is a common sense initiative and if the Council won’t support this I will look at working with local businesses to raise the funds needed for the installation of a promotional sign in the approach to Park Street which will be seen by the busy traffic on Market Street.
I call on local people to back this idea and support local high streets and small businesses.
Cllr Paul Brothwood UKIP Parliamentary Candidate for Dudley South
