I belong to the Wollaston Townswomen’s Guild bowling section.
For many years we have paid an annual fee for the use of the bowling green in Mary Stevens Park, Stourbridge.
We realise that some of our fee is used for maintenance of the green, but in paying this fee we feel that we should be able to park at the facility.
At present there are simply not enough parking spaces, wither in the park itself or nearby.
Most money allocated for improvements at the park has been spent on newer facilities, but we feel some consideration is due to these who use the well established facilities sich as the bowling green.
When we come to bowl we need somewhere convenient to park, bowls are very heavy objects to carry around.
Could some resources be used to enlarge the car park to the left of the main gates?
