IN response to Rosemary Umbers letter, I can only agree as a resident of Penfields it is a disgrace down the alleyways leading down to Mill Race Lane from The Penfield's Estate.

I would have gladly helped out for an hour or so, but I received no leaflet about this litter pick. May I suggest using Twitter or Facebook in future to promote these events. I am sure that 102.5 The Bridge as our local "Community Radio Station", would be happy to get their hands dirty and do a bit for it's community.
