CROOME Park is hosting its popular Dogathon this Sunday with plenty to do for dog owners and their four legged friends.
The magnificent 18th century park, near Pershore, will be hosting the event, now in its second year, on Sunday 5 July from 11am to 4pm.
The Perry Barr Greyhound Trust will be on site all day with some of their greyhounds and talking to visitors about their work and their aim of ensuring a safe and happy future for retired greyhounds.
Visitors will be able to tackle two trails with their dogs, following the clues to collect answers and win a prize. The trails are self guided and proceeds will be split between the Greyhound Trust and the property.
For smaller dogs there will be the Small Paw Walk of 1.5 miles and for a longer adventure there is the Big Paw Challenge of 3.5 miles.
Trophy Pet Foods will also be on site with lots of treats for pampered pooches.
Amy Forster, visitor services assistant, said: “We look forward to welcoming everyone to our special day for both two legged and four legged visitors and help to raise money for needy dogs.”
The park, shop and 1940s canteen will be open from 10am until 5.30pm with the Dogathon activities taking place from 11am until 4pm. Normal admission charges apply and the trails cost £3 each.
