STOUBRIDGE’S young guns will be bidding for glory next Wednesday when they entertain Bradford City in the FA Youth Cup second round.
It’s the first time the young Glassboys have ever reached this stage of the competition and the club are hoping for some huge support.
Stourbridge have already disposed of Nuneaton Griff (4-2), Coleshill Town (1-0), Chasetown (2-1) and more recently Nottingham side Dunkirk ( 4-1) in this season’s competition.
Under the guidance of manager Dave King and assistant Gary Brown, the Glassboys have enjoyed plenty of success already having snapped up back-to-back trebles in the Midlands Floodlit Premier League South.
This season looks like being no different with Stourbridge having won eight of their nine games so far.
However Stourbridge are no strangers to Football League opposition either having already faced Burton Albion and Grimsby Town.
Admission is £3 for adults, £2 for OAP’s and £1 for kids.
