DUDLEY Town claimed their first win in seven games with an away victory over Smethwick Rangers last Saturday.
A late winner from substitute Joel Ambalu, who returned from injury to make the match-day squad, gave The Robins a 3-2 success.
Goals from Stefan Ashman and Andy Arnold also got on the scoresheet as Town took a much-needed three points.
Chairman Steve Austin said: "It wasn't the prettiest of games but it was great for us to get the win.
"It means we can hopefully put the last few games behind us and continue to build from here."
Austin also praised the impact of new signing Callum Haynes.
"Both Callum Haynes and Joel Ambalu did really well for us. They had an immediate impact and will hopefully become important players for us," he added.
