CAUSEWAY United manager Andy Mole is facing selection crisis ahead of this Saturday's FA Vase tie against Walsall Wood.

Mole is set to be without seven or eight players due to them being cup tied, suspended or injured. It leaves him with just ten players as he struggles to put a side out for the game at The Grove.

"We have chopped and changed our side since the season started but it means we now have a number of players that are cup tied for the Vase," said Mole.

"I'm struggling to get a side together at the moment because we also have a number of injuries and suspensions.

"Because we have entered the competition at a later round, it also means that it is hard to bring players in that are also free to play."

United lost 2-1 away to Rocester last Saturday before Tuesday night's JW Hunt Cup fixture with Darlaston Town was postponed.

Causeway will return to league action a week on Saturday when they travel to take on Heath Hayes.
