DUDLEY Sports boss Tony Gore has demanded a response from his players after they slipped to a heavy defeat at Shawbury United.
Sports slumped to a 6-0 away loss last Saturday when they were the only West Midlands Premier League fixture to beat the weather.
It was Sports’ first league game of the year after a host of postponements due to waterlogged pitches.
Boss Gore was left disgruntled by the performance and wants more from the players when they host Black Country Rangers at Hillcrest Avenue this Saturday (3pm).
He said: “It was very disappointing. I can accept the fact we haven’t played for a long time and we may be a little ring rusty, but we gifted them nearly all of their goals.
“We have previously reacted very well after heavy defeats and we must do the same now.
“We will learn from it and move on. It’s all about how you react.”
