DUDLEY Sports boss Tony Gore says his side is now fully focused on picking up league points following their FA Cup exit last Saturday.

Sports were knocked out at the preliminary round stage after a 4-0 defeat at Coleshill Town.

They are set to return to league action at home to Willenhall Town tomorrow night before Ellesmere Rangers visit Hillcrest Avenue this Saturday.

A trip to Smethwick on Bank Holiday Monday will complete a busy spell.

Gore is keen to bag more West Midlands Premier League points and put the cup exit behind them.

He said: “It was disappointing against Coleshill but they are a very good side and I can have no complaints about the outcome.

“If it wasn’t for our goalkeeper, Joe Sidaway, it could have been a lot worse for us.

“But now we just want to start picking up more league points again. We are playing catch up a little now, but can hopefully build on our last league win over Bewdley.”

Sports are set to be without midfielders Tom Watkins (back) and Curtis Cocking (absent), as well as Liam Williams (foot).

Gore says he’s is on the look out for new additions to help him deal with the injury list.
