GARY Hackett praised the way his Glassboys dug deep to overcome Coalville Town.

Stour got their promotion push back on track with a 2-0 win thanks to a double from striker Luke Benbow.

However, they had to work hard for the victory, especially due to the added disruptive factor caused by injuries to Matt Dodd, Kayelden Brown and Jack Duggan.

Hackett said: "We don't have the right to beat anyone and Coalville made it very difficult for us.

"We had to work hard and be patient.

"I'm always happy with the win but it was a very tough game. Coalville were very competitive and are on a good run so we are very pleased.

"I thought we deserved it over the 90 minutes in terms of goal scoring chances.

"When you look at it, Luke Benbow scored two great opportunistic goals and the performance of the players came in adversity as well with the loss of Jack Duggan, Matt Dodd and Kaylelden Brown, who are three quality players for us.

"We have bounced back very well from last week. We all know we under performed at Sutton but it's a big win today."

The manager also said he may now be forced to bring in added numbers at Amblecote should the injuries turn out to be serious.
