TONY Gore has called for his Dudley Sports players to cut out the mistakes if they want to push away from the West Midlands Premier League relegation zone.

Sports again gave themselves too much to do as they lost 2-0 against AFC Bridgnorth last Saturday.

Gore said: "We were poor again in the first half and again conceded two goals that we shouldn't have.

"Even though we were better in the second half we have ended up chasing the game again.

"Conceding poor goals has been our Achilles heel lately and old habits are dying hard.

"We have moved out of the bottom three but we really need to pick up as many points as we can now to make sure we don't get dragged back in.

"We have shown what this squad is capable of when we beat Malvern a few weeks ago but now need to find some consistency."

Sports will look to get back to winning ways when they go to Bewdley Town this Saturday.

Gore's options will be boosted with the return of Tom Watkins and Mark Gore from suspension and injury respectively.

Jamie Parker is also back in training following a three-month lay-off with a knee injury.
