DUDLEY Sports manager Tony Gore admits he has a selection headache ahead of this Saturday's clash with table-toppers Haughmond.

Sports battled to a pleasing point at Ellesmere Rangers last Saturday to move five points above second-from-bottom Wellington Amateurs in the West Midlands Premier Division.

The goalless draw backed up the previous weekend's success against Pegasus Juniors and was all the more pleasing for Sports due to the amount of players missing.

Mark Gore, Curtis Cocking, skipper Tom Watkins, Aaron Gordon, Bradley Welding, Lewis Phillips and Joe Bevan all missed last Saturday.

However, with everyone but Matt Perry fit ahead of the Haughmond's visit to Hillcrest Avenue the boss has some big decision to make.

He said: "Ellesmere is a tough place to go, especially with the amount of people we had missing, but those that came into the side did brilliantly.

"It is an important point because it helped us extend that gap to the team below us.

"The changing room was buzzing before and after the game and the players that don't normally get a run in the side really stepped up.

"The Haughmond game is now one we will really look forward to.Anything we get will be a big bonus for us.

"I now have to decide which players to stick with. They did well Saturday but then those that are coming back had a good result the week before as well. It will be about juggling our options around to get the right side."
