STOURBRIDGE pole vaulter Nick Cruchley soars through the London air on his way to clinching gold in the BUCS Visa Outdoor Athletics Championship.
Cruchley, a member of Halesowen Athletics Club, set a new championship record of 5.22 metres and became the first pole vault champion at the Olympic stadium which hosted the event.
