THE Kingswinford School is in the running to be crowned the region’s top children’s party venue.
Since 2011 the school on Water Street has allowed parents to hire its sports centre for their child’s birthday celebrations.
Staff make the planning process a doddle for busy parents and tailor parties to each child’s interests and needs and the dedication has earnt the school a place in the regional finals of the Netmums Favourite Party Awards - in the favourite venue category.
Headteacher Bronwyn Hedley said she was “delighted” with the nomination and Simon Baggott, sports centre manager, urged parents to get behind the school.
He said: “We work hard to provide the best memories for children at their parties, so I’d like to ask all the local mums and dads to get behind us, vote for us and make us the West Midlands winner.”
Voting has now opened on www.netmums.com and the winner will be announced on Friday August 23.
