A WOLLASTON school’s production of an all-time classic musical has not only got the school buzzing but the whole community.
Ridgewood High School’s three night performances of Annie, which begin tonight, have already proved a hit after quickly selling out.
With a cast and crew of more than 250 students, ranging from actors to spotlight operators, the show, featuring well-loved songs including A Hard Knock Life, Maybe and Tomorrow, aims to demonstrate the talents of the whole school.
Head girl Daisy Narrowmore, who plays Mr Warbucks’ personal assistant Grace Farrell, said: “It has been an amazing few months working towards such a great show with so many talented people.
“This is my last year at Ridgewood and I couldn’t have asked for a better role to play as my final part.”
Following on from the success of last year’s sold out performances of High School Musical, the students hope to produce another exciting, vibrant and engaging production.
The show begins tonight at 7pm and continues until Thursday.
