Free cup football in Halesowen this Sunday

FOOTBALL fans in Halesowen can get a taste of cup football for free this Sunday.
Sporting Albion Ladies, who play their home games at Halesowen Town’s Grove ground, host Sunderland women in the FA Cup (kick-off 1pm) and entry to the ground is free.
The visitors, currently top of the National Women’s League, go into the game as favourites but Albion boss Dave Lawrence says his side can beat anyone on their day.
He said: “I go into each game being confident; we are a team that is reliant on excellent preparation and good training sessions.”
Lawrence added: “I would wholeheartedly suggest people come down and have a look, they will be entertained by the quality of football they see, they’ll see a squad of footballers that have a great desire to win.”
