THE third round of Stourbridge Cycling Club’s 10-mile Time Trial Series was held in almost perfect conditions at Bobbington, Staffordshire.

A light breeze on a warm sunny evening was the best that riders could hope for and they matched it with some excellent performances.

Fastest around the two laps of the five-mile undulating course was guest James Jeavons, who is making a habit of winning these events, in 23 minutes 31 seconds. The best of the 20 SCC members was Phil Glaze who finished in 25.46, followed by youth Anthony Neave in 26.54.
