SPEED skater Will Dobson has been selected to represent Great Britain at the European Junior Championships held in Geisingen, Germany next month.
The 14-year-old trains at Birmingham Wheels Roller Speed Club where he has been skating for four years. He goes to Bromsgrove School and lives in Belbroughton.
In 2011 he set a British Record and he hopes to set a few more this year at the British Championships which will be staged at Birmingham Wheels Club, at Birmingham Wheels Adventure Park on August 10-11.
His next aim is to compete at the World Championships, which this year are held in Belgium. A team has yet to be announced for that,.
He is also looking for sponsorship so any local companies that might want their name on his back as he competes should get in touch via the Birmingham Wheels club website birminghamwheelsrsc.com
