KINGSWINFORD speedmerchant Michael Rutter competed for the Honda TT Legends at the 8 Hours of Oschersleben in Germany.
The Legends finished ninth overall and sixth in the Endurance World Championship class.
It was Rutter who got the ball rolling for the Legends before handing over to Simon Andrews and then Chris McGuinness who took the team upto sixth place before a fuel issue saw them drop down to 17th spot with McGuinness forced to push the bike back to the pits.
Once back up and running, the Legends clawed back eight places with Rutter recording the fastest lap as they came home ninth, victory going to the Suzuki Endurance Racing Team.
Rutter said: “I’m pleased that I did some decent times and I tried to be consistent all the way through, but I found this a difficult circuit to ride and it was tiring. The fuel issue was a shame, but we brought it back to finish the race.”
