MICHAEL Rutter has been given the all clear after a high speed crash resulted in a suspected fractured vertebrae for the Kingswinford rider.

He was forced to miss the remained of last weekend's British Superbike Championship at Brands Hatch following a crash in the second practice session on Friday.

Rutter was initially taken care of by the BSB medical team and then referred for further tests at the Royal London Hospital to check on his spine.

Although this meant that he could not compete in Sunday’s races, Rutter has been given the all clear to ride and will return with Bathams Prizewinning Ales to compete at Thruxton in Hampshire on August 1 to 3 for round six of the championship.
