STOURBRIDGE shot putter Rachel Wallader threw a personal best to finish fourth at the Commonwealth Games.
The 24-year-old athlete, who was making her debut at the Games, missed out on the medal placings but put in a great display in Glasgow.
She produced another career-best performance on Wednesday night to throw 16.83.
The contest was once again won by New Zealand's Valerie Adams.
Trinidad and Tobago's Cleopatra Borel claimed silver and Canada's Julie Labonte took bronze.
