DUDLEY Sports continued their fine start to the season with an away win over Bewdley Town.

Goals from Dean Williams and Craig Tibbetts earned them all three points at Ribbesford Meadow last Saturday.

The hosts finished the game with eight men after have three players sent over in the last 15 minutes as discipline deserted them.

Sports boss Tony Gore was fully of praise fir the way his side has started their West Midlands Premier Division campaign.

He said: "The win against Bewdley has turned it into a really good start for us. We have been on top in our other games and could have even more points as well.

"We are now focussed on maintaining our start and making sure we build on it."

Dudley will be in cup action this Saturday when they take on North West Counties Football League outfit Eccleshall in the FA Vase at Hillcrest Avenue.

"It will be a tough test for us but we are looking forward to taking our form into the FA Vase," added Gore. "It would be great for the club to have a good cup run this season. We're not in the FA Cup so we will be fully focused on the Vase."

Dudley will be without Jack Hickman, Josh Garbett, Dean Williams and Jonathan Letford who are all away at the weekend.

Sports will return to league action when they face rivals Dudley Town at home on Tuesday night.
