GORNAL boss Andy Wyton says he is pleased with the way his players have gelled in recent weeks.
Athletic bagged back-to-back victories by beating Pegasus Juniors 4-0 away last Saturday.
Two goals each for Drenez Bala and Rion Francis-Mills saw The Peacocks take all three points to add to last Monday's home victory over Dudley Town.
Wyton said: "We played really well against Pegasus and could have had even more goals. The players have now gelled well after an slightly unsure start, so I'm hopeful that it's a good sign that there is more to come."
Gornal, who were due to take on Bridgnorth last night, will face Wolverhampton Sporting Community away in the FA Vase this Saturday.
Wyton has boosted the ranks at Garden Walk with the addition of midfielder Jason Wood from Wolverhampton Casuals.
However, new signing Josh Mackenzie, who only joined the club last week has already left to join Studley.
