CRADLEY have been handed a major pre-season boost with a new team sponsorship deal to take the club to Perry Barr.

The reigning City Gearboxes National League champions, who have switched home meetings from Wolverhampton to Birmingham, are keeping it local with main sponsors Motor Market stepping up from their team partnership role of the last two couple of seasons.

Owned by brothers Dean and Adam Bridge who are massive Heathens fans, Motor Market have their showroom on Newtown Lane in Cradley Heath overlooking the original Dudley Wood Stadium site.

Heathens chairman Nigel Pearson said: “We are delighted to welcome Motor Market back for 2015 and we are truly thrilled that they are coming with us to Perry Barr as main team sponsors.

“Our supporters are extremely loyal and I’m sure any Heathens fan that needs to replace their vehicle will pop along to Motor Market and give them the opportunity.”

Dean and Adam Bridge said: “We were born and bred and now live and trade in Cradley Heath and have been proud Heathens supporters since the 70s, so we are well aware of the fantastic history the club has.

Cradley have also confirmed they have sold all heat sponsorships for the new season and more team partners will be unveiled within the next fortnight.

Their new race jacket will be unveiled at the Heathens season launch night on Wednesday, March 11 at Brierley Hill’s Copthorne Hotel. Admission is £5 and tickets are selling well with all profits going to the riders.

During the day the team will be put through their paces at Perry Barr when they hold a joint press and practice with Birmingham. The Brummies will start at midday with Cradley at 2pm.
