CHAIRMAN Steve Austin wants Dudley Town to show their true potential during the final games of the season.

The Robins bounced back to winning ways with a 4-2 home win against Wednesfield last Saturday.

A brace from Shawn Devonport and strikes from Rhys Morgan and Lee Smith secured the points at The Dell and put the previous weekend's loss against Shifnal behind them.

"It was a tough game in difficult conditions but the players got the job done," said Austin. "They showed really good character to bounce back and deserved the win.

"I think we are in a false position and the overall ability of the squad means we should be a lot higher. The challenge now is to show that during the final games.

"Finishing well will also help us retain our players next season."

Town will now face Ellesmere Rangers away this Saturday.

Meanwhile, Dudley Town Under-21s have made it through to the final of the Birmingham County Junior Saturday Cup.

The final against FC Premier 2008 will take place this Saturday at the Country Headquarters in Ray Hall Lane, Great Barr, Birmingham.
