CHAIRMAN Colin Brookes says he was pleased with what he saw after attended one of Halesowen’s pre-season training sessions this week.
The Yeltz are now back in training as manager John Hill prepares for another season in the Northern Premier League.
A host of new additions were on show as well as some familiar faces.
Brookes said: “It was good to go down and watch the team train. Everyone was looking and good and keen to impress.
“The new lads caught the eye as well. It was pleasing to see.
“I also managed to speak to John and he was please with how training is going.”
Brookes also confirmed that the manager is in talks with a host of targets and would still like to add two or three more before the season starts.
A number of trialists have also been invited to attend pre-season.
Meanwhile, Town will be hosting a free fans forum in the James Grove Lounge on Thursday, August 6 from 7.30pm.
In attendance will be Brookes, Hill and assistant manager Matt Clarke.
