STOURBRIDGE Running Club enjoyed a good performance at The Welsh Castles Relay.

This is a two-day, 20 stage, 211-mile race across Wales, a mountainous route from Caernarfon to Cardiff.

Stourbridge finished in 50th place out of 64 teams, with good performances from a host of the club’s runners.

A large contingent took on the challenge. They included Adrian Phillips, Tim Lloydlangston, Ed Davies, Chloe Pearson, Dave Sheppard, Tim Bailey, Joan Clarke, Adam Crompton, Grace Allen, Pete Walters, Steve Burch and Andy Boardman.

Also competing for Stourbridge Running Club, which is based at the War Memorial Ground, were Rob Colman, Adam Harris, George Sherrey, Stuart Bird, Errol Cumberbatch, Paul Bradley, John Harris and Keith Spokes.
