HALESOWEN Seconds suffered a 56 run reverse against Harborne in Premier 2

Opening bats Sam Sherwin with 44 and Greg Easter on 52 not out laid the foundation for Harborne's total of 195 for nine.

Carl Bust proved pick of Halesowen's bowling attack by taking four for 60 while Mo Shauib snapped up three for 48.

However Halesowen fell short in reply when removed for 139 all out.

Deon Patel tried to hold the batting together with 61 but lacked sufficient support as Dom Tuohey with five for 48 and Abusinan Abdullah who took three for 38 causing most of the damage.

OLD Hill's second string lost out by six wickets against third placed Smethwick in Second Division North.

Omar Dawood struck 69 in an Old Hill total of 157 for nine.

Smethwick responded with 159 for four, experienced Mo Hasnain leading the charge with 47.

Old Hill drop to fifth place as a result.
