DUDLEY Town manager Andy Allardice has begun a major recruitment drive after the Robins lost their first three games.
Town slipped to their third successive defeat with a 3-0 loss at Wellington Amateurs last Saturday.
Their task was made even harder after goalkeeper Mike Kimberley failed to show for the clash. It meant skipper Andy Arnold had to deputise between the sticks.
Now Allardice is looking to add eight new faces to his squad ahead of tomorrow night’s game at home to Black Country Rangers (7.45pm) and Wellington’s visit to the Dell this Saturday (3pm).
He said: “I can’t sit idly by and let this continue. It is up to me to change things and try to improve us.
“I know they players we have are trying their hardest but they are struggling at the moment. We have some lovely footballers in the side but really need a bit of extra nous and experience.
“We are just a little naive still.”
Goalkeeper Dyan Cooknell is among the first to join.
