STOURBRIDGE boss Gary Hackett says his players will give it their all as they look to secure play-off final glory this Saturday.

The Glassboys will make the long trip to County Durham after Spennymoor defeated Nantwich Town 2-0 at Brewery Field on Tuesday night.

They join Stour in the final following the Glassboys' thrilling 3-2 extra time win at home to Workington on Monday.

It means Saturday's clash will see the league's second and third placed teams go head-to-head for the right to join champions Blyth Spartans in the Vanarama National League North next season.

Both league encounters between Stourbridge and Spennymoor this campaign have finished all square but there will have to be a winner this time around.

Hackett said: "Our main aim as a set of players and management team was to get in the play-offs and it was great to do that and then get to the final after a great game of football against Workington.

"The final is a game we're all really looking forward to now.

"They rightly have home advantage after finishing above us this season but there isn't much between the two sides, as has already been shown this season.

"We have to go there with confidence but still be respectful of a very good Spennymoor team.

"We'll go up there the night before and make sure we're relaxed and raring to go.

"It's hard to say which is bigger, this game or the FA Cup, because the rewards are different. What we do know is this is a massive game for this football club.

The boss also highlighted the fantastic support his team has had this season, saying: "The fans have been truly astounding and I'm sure we'll have a healthy travelling support once more.

"We appreciate that and will be giving it everything for them."

Fans travelling to Spennymoor for the final (3pm kick-off) will be able to pay on the gate. Admission prices are expected to be £10 for adults, £6 concessions and £3 children, subject to final ratification from the league.

The Glassboys have also confirmed that coach travel will be available from the War Memorial Ground. Supporters must book and pay for their coach tickets in advance. No telephone bookings will be accepted.

Coaches will depart from Old Wharf Road (adjacent to Johnson's Cleaners) at 8.30am on Saturday morning.

Bookings can be made at the club shop at the ground today between noon and 5pm and 7pm and 9pm.

The fares are £10 for club members and £15 non-members. Members must produce their membership card to receive their fare reduction.
