How they rated:

Halesowen 1, Farsley Celtic 2

Platt: Solid afternoon for the Yeltz keeper. Collected well when required and couldn't do much about either of the Celtic goals. Saved well from Ryan Watson late on as his team went chasing an equaliser. 7.

Alexander: Looked to support the attack when he had the chance but found those opportunities limited as his side struggled to keep the ball in the first half. Defended well enough but nothing more than an average afternoon. 6.

Kelly: Again, like many of his team-mates, a solid if unspectacular showing from the full-back. Had less to defending to do in the second half as Hales picked up. 6.

Goddard: Got through a good amount of work in midfield but couldn't influence the game from the deeper central midfield role. Not helped in the first period by the home side's long ball tactics from the back. Too often the ball sailed over his head. 6.

Lewis: Defended the area well at times next to Asa Charlton but couldn't keep Celtic out as the first half pressure told. Quieter second half as the visitors sat on their lead. 6.

Charlton (c): Like Lewis he too did okay under constant pressure early on. Difficult task to keep tabs on the lively movement of goal scorer Nathan Cartman and physical presence of James Walshaw. 6.

Howell: Struggled to get into the game playing more central in the first half. Worked Celtic keeper McKibben into a save in the second half after being pushed out wide right. 6.

Woodhouse: Took up position on the left side of midfield in the first half but failed to have any impact on the game. 5.

Shearer: Always a willing runner he continued to chase lost causes throughout the first half. He was the one running the channels and trying to make the most of the hopeful balls forward.  Unlucky to be subbed at half time but was apparently suffering with illness before the game. 6.5.

Clarke: Didn't manage to have the influence he'd have liked. Always looking to drift inside from the right without much joy. Had one good effort in the first half when forcing McKibben to tip over a long range drive. Moved into a more central position in the second half but still disappointed. 6.

Spray: Frustrating afternoon for the forward. Mobility and link-up play were lacking for large periods. Did have a hand in Halesowen's late goal when playing a neat one-two with sub Roland Agbor but will be disappointed he didn't have an impact sooner. 6.

Subs:

Agbor: Really impressive cameo performance from the lively forward after his half time introduction. Gave Yeltz a different threat in the final third and worked three openings for himself before finding the back of the net in the last five minutes. He was the spark that helped his side get back on top in the second half. Pushing for a start. 8.

Chilton: Another half time change as John Hill looked for a way back in the contest. Offered more width and always a willing runner. 6.5.

Steele: Slotted in out wide on the right after replacing Howell with just over 20 minutes to go. Worked hard as his side chased a route back but didn't offer an attacking threat. 6.

Unused subs: Morrison, Walker.
