DUDLEY Sports are hoping to welcome Matt Hanson back into the fold after being sidelined for 16 months with a fractured leg.

Hanson has been handed the all clear to resume playing and has already been in light training.

Sports boss Tony Gore intends to include Hanson in his 16-man squad for the trip to high flying Wolves Sporting Community this Saturday in a West Midlands League Premier contest.

Gore said: "I'm really pleased for Matt. It will be like having a new player on board."

Wolves Sporting will prove a tough nut to crack especially having just booked their place in the last 16 of this season's FA Vase.

But Dudley's ranks will be boosted further by the return of goal grabber Mark Gore who has also suffered a lengthy spell on the sidelines with an ankle injury.

On the downside, Sports have lost leading goalscorer Ramano Graham who has joined rivals Wednesfield.

He became the third Sports player to depart for Wednesfield following the departure of Adam Skelding and Lopes Massampo.
