THE final weekend of competition at the Worcester County Swimming Championships saw Halesowen swimmers pick up another impressive medals haul.

Club captain Josh Bradley added a further three county championships to his honours list with victories in the men’s 50m breaststroke and both the 100m and 200m individual medleys.

Maia Noonan continued her fantastic championships with victories in the 12-and-under girls' 200m butterfly and 100m freestyle, along with a silver in a hotly-contested 50m breaststroke.

There were also podium finishes for Ryan Larkin who, in the men’s age category, bagged two silvers in the 100m medley and 100m freestyle and two bronze in the 50m freestyle and 50m breaststroke.

Olivia Jay achieved a clean sweep of bronze medals in the ladies 50m, 100m and 200m breaststroke events. Joe South rounded out the medal winners with a bronze medal in the 14-year-old boys' 50m breaststroke.

Hopes are high that confidence gained at the county championships will convert to strong performances in the upcoming Winter League and Nuneaton Junior League fixtures.
