FORMER Wrexham and Wolves striker Bradley Reid has joined Stourbridge from Tamworth.

The 22-year old did join the Glassboys on a month's loan from Tamworth in March but was limited to one start as he picked up an injury just over an hour into his debut.

Bradley originally came through the youth ranks at Wrexham and his impressive showings at a young age earned him a move to Wolves in September 2013 for a five-figure fee.

He couldn’t quite break into the first team picture at Molineux but did make an appearance in the EFL Trophy during the 2016-17 campaign.

Bradley also spent time out on loan whilst at Wolves, re-joining Wrexham twice and also having two spells at AFC Telford United. He left Molineux last summer before signing for Tamworth.

The forward, who has played for the Wales under-19 and under-21 sides, netted six times for the Lambs in a stop-start campaign as he wasn't able to nail down a regular starting place.

Glassboys boss Gary Hackett is looking for his new signing to get himself fully fit after his injury and also having had to make the transition from going from full-time to part-time football in the last year, but believes he showed enough on his curtailed debut performance to suggest he can offer a genuine goal threat at this level.

The first team reported back for pre-season training on Monday at their new Ormiston Sports Ground base.

The first friendly match is away at AFC Wulfrunians on Saturday, July 14 (3pm).
