TIVIDALE have boosted their forward line with the addition of Rion Francis-Mills.

The hitman played for Wolverhampton Sporting Community and Cradley Town last season but comes into add extra firepower to Dave King's side.

He joins forwards Tyree Clarke, Dan Smith and Jake Brigdale who have already committed to the club.

Manager King is pleased to have added Francis-Mills.

He said: "He's a really good signing for us and he knows how to score goals at this level.

"The most pleasing thing is that he wants to be here. He had a number of other clubs interested in him but wanted to come to us."

Other players from last season to stay at the Beeches include defenders Chris Hill, Tom Hurdman and Karl Gardner, midfielders Darragh Bustin, Lee Smith, Elliott Hartley and Brad Welding.

Dale will play their first pre-season friendly this Saturday when they go to Quorn.

Their first home friendly will be against Stourport Swifts on Saturday, July 28.

King also said he's still looking to add a few more players in the right positions and will be looking at a few trialists in the coming weeks.
