HALESOWEN Town will not participate in the FA Cup for the second year running, it has been confirmed.

The club has not been included in the draw for the opening qualifying rounds made today.

The Yeltz were banned from last season's FA Cup and Trophy competitions for failing to pay gate receipts to opponents during the 2008/2009 campaign.

Though the club applied to enter this year's cup competition, their exclusion is not unexpected as FA rules state participants must have played in the previous season's FA competitions.

The club has been accepted into the FA Trophy, where they face a trip to Cirencester in the first qualifying round.
