KING William beat Malt Dudley 5-1 in the final of the Dudley and Cradley Heath Sunday League's John Higham Memorial Trophy last Sunday.

King William opened the scoring within the first minute with a Si Pritchard headed goal. Richie Davy then made it 2-0 on 10 minutes to give hi9s side the perfect start.

Malt Dudley pulled one back through a Shane Bryan goal before Danny Bellis drilled home King William's third on 37 minutes to maintain their two goal advantage.

Jayke Downing capitalized on a weak back pass to notch William's four two minutes later to give them a 4-1 half time lead.

The second half was less eventful but King William increased their lead to 5-1 with Danny Bellis' second strike. William had several chances to increase the tally but couldn't finish. Malt had a chances but Jon Lees was equal to them in King William's goal pulling off several top class saves.

In the Premier Division, Britannia beat Dudley Borough United 3-0.

Britannia started well and were unlucky not to opening the scoring after missing a few chances and seeing some efforts saved.

The second half was a similar pattern to the first until a chance was taken by Wes Ford on 56 minutes to make it 1-0 to Britannia.

On 60 minutes, a good solo run led to a penalty that was won and finished by Mark Brookes. Then, on 70 minutes, Robbie Hipkiss converted a good move for Britannia.

Willenhall Three Crowns drew 2-2 with Pensnett United.

In Division One, Lloyds beat Forest Falcons 4-2.

Previously, on Thursday, May 1, Sedgley White Lion beat Pensnett United 2-1 in the Premier Division.
