HALESOWEN TOWN COLTS.

Newly promoted Halesowen Town Colts U16s took on top of the premiership Coleshill Town and drew 3-3.

It was a close start, but Coleshill took the lead despite Alex Davis in goal for the Colts was making some first class saves.

Just before half time Halesowen were awarded a free-kick outside the box.

Mikey Andrews rolled the ball across to Stefan Ashman who struck a great shot into the top left of the Coleshill net to bring the scores level.

In the second half the Colts started to dominate and Conor Paterson scored to put the Colts ahead.

It looked as though ther points would be obtained but a defensive error gave Coleshill the chance to level.

Then with only a few minutes left Conor Paterson broke down the left and finished off an excellent solo effort and with two minutes left Coleshill got a corner and scored with a good header.

A draw was probably fair, but Halesowen are starting to make an impression in the Premiership. The U12s won 3-1 at Pensnett Harriers with man-of the-match Mitchell James scoring two and Connor Turbill one.
