GLASSBOYS chairman Andy Pountney claims the club are thirsting to take their revenge on Stevenage Borough after being paired together in the FA Cup for the second time in three years.

Borough beat Stourbridge 3-0 when the teams met in Amblecote last time but Pountney believes his side can turn the tables on them - writes Nick Pullen

Pountney claimed: "We owe them one! Yes, I, like everyone, was a little bit disappointed when the draw was made.

"But we feel we're a much better and stronger side since last time we met and we're determined to give it a damn good go this time.

"Ideally , it would have been nice to have been drawn at home. If we had, then we probably would have been one of the televised games.

"Although the draw's not great, it's not insurmountable either. But to get the same side twice in three years in phenominal.

"To be fair, they're not doing as well as when we met last time and they're certainly not going to have it so easy this time.

"Everyone was a little disappointed when the draw came out. Towards the end of the draw, there were still sides like Bristol City, Leyton Orient and Walsall still left in.

"But we must remain positive and treat the game exactly as we did against Plymouth Argyle - and then who knows what can happen. Fingers crossed that we can pull off a shock!

Stourbridge will now wait to hear from Stevenage regarding ticket allocations -but it seems certain the Glassboys will take a big following to Broadhall Way.
