STOURBRIDGE are back in seventh heaven after thrashing Somerset side Frome Town 7-0 in the Southern League Premier on Tuesday night.

It's the second time in recent weeks that the Glassboys have hit seven, having inflicted the same punishment on Weymouth late last month - writes Nick Pullen

More importantly, the result gets the Glassboys back into winning ways having lost their two previous Southern League contests after defeats to Burnham and then ArleseyTown last Saturday.

The result lifts Stourbridge back upto sixth spot, although they remain a massive 17 points adrift of leaders Hemel Hempstead, who they must visit this Saturday.

The Glassboys effectively had the points wrapped up by half time as they raced into a 4-0 lead by the interval.

Sean Geddes got the ball rolling after 15 minutes before Luke Benbow made it 2-0 on 22 minutes.

Geddes smashed home a third from the penalty spot just after the hour half and then completed his hat-trick after 38 minutes, taking his league tally for the term to 15 goals.

Kaye Brown cracked home a fifth goal on 52 minutes before late strike from Will Richards and Jamie Oliver completed a comprehensive victory.

The only downside for Stourbridge was the size of the crowd - just 240 turned up to watch this magnificent seven.
