CRADLEY Heathens speedway team are set to make a return to action in Swindon next week.
The final pieces have been put together for the line ups for a four team tournament on Thursday 30th July, tapes up 7.30pm.
Cradley’s quartet has been completed with the signing of Ryan Fisher to add to the names of Adam Shields, Mads Korneliussen and Paul Fry. Colin Pratt is set to manage the team.
This is the first time that a top flight Heathens team has raced competitively since the closure of the club after their final season at Loomer Road.
Organisers believe the meeting gives Heathens fans a great opportunity to see a team race again. Many fans mentioned that they were missing seeing the Heathens in action.
The Swindon promotion have taken a bold decision to run the meeting with the support of HSSC.
Coach travel to Swindon is available to book through the supporters club. Please e-mail heathens08@gogglemail.com or phone 07717218621 for more details.
