A SUPERB brace from Linden Dovey helped Stourbridge to victory in an open game at Knight's Lane.
Sam Rock went close to opening the score for Stourbridge as early as the sixth minute but his weak effort was cleared before it could get over the line.
Jozesf Jakab then missed a glorious chance for the home side when he poked wide after Kevin Brookes had muscled through Stour's defence.
The visitors went in front on eleven minutes when Dovey found space on the right, James Dyson lashing home the cross.
Stratford levelled seven minutes later, with Jakab quickest to react after Lewis Solly had tipped Tom Warmer's delightful free-kick onto the post.
On 23 minutes Stourbridge were back in front as Dovey notched his first of the evening, sending a delightful lob over keeper Mole from the edge of the box.
Six minutes late he was at it again, this time from 25 yards out as again he lofted a shot over a stranded Mole to make it 3-1.
Jakab then had the ball in the net for Stratford, only to see his effort ruled out for a foul.
Both sides had little problem creating chances but it was not until 80 minutes that the next goal arrived, in a moment Solly will want to quickly forget.
The Stourbridge keeper came rushing off his line to deal with a ball over the top but could only manage to weakly clear the ball into the path of Carl Mottram, who lofted the ball into the empty net from 30 yards out.
Any hopes of a Stratford comeback were quickly extinguished moments later however, when Sam Smith rose bravely at the back post to power home Aaron Drake's corner. Solly then redeemed his earlier error by brilliantly tipping over Lee Palmer's dipping, long range effort.
