The oppostion who sit bottom of National League Two have only been able to notch up one victory all season and they were easily pushed aside by a Stour side including the emerging James Lloyd-Jones, Chris Rowley and debutant Duncan Kelly.

The pattern for the game became clear early on as Stourbridge shoved Harrogate off their own scrummage ball twice in the opening minutes and it was clear the Harrogate pack were no match for the home eight. After an early Ally Bressington penalty, left winger Jon Hall evaded some weak Harrogate tackling to force himself over for the opening try of the afternoon after 12 minutes. Bressington converted and indeed was to have a fine kicking afternoon - only missing one kick during the game.

After half an hour Nick Wainwright kicked a penalty for Harrogate after a high tackle, but these were to prove their only points of the afternoon as Stourbridge were in total dominance. Bressington kicked a second penalty after 32 minutes and then ten minutes later Ally Muldowney broke from the Harrogate 22 and stormed over. Bressington converted to leave the half time score 20-3.

Five minutes into the second half Marcus Cook - playing his 99th game for Stourbridge - chipped over the visitors defence, caught his own kick and scored to the left of the posts.

Stourbridge were now relentless and scored three tries in the last quarter.

Firstly Ben Gerry stole the ball which was fed to Keylock to touch down.

Ten minutes before time Bressington, on the right wing, broke from his own half, hacked on twice and won the race to the touchdown for his 16th try of the season.

The try of the match was just before time and was a real team effort.

The ball was won by Jon Hall inside his own half and after a jinking run, the ball was taken up in a multiple handling move and was finished off by Ramsay Dean who sprinted over wide on the left.

Line up: Lloyd-Jones (Williams), Bressington, Porteous, Eastwood, Hall, Cook, Richardson (Rowley), Hartland, Keylock, Tideswell (Sturdy), Muldowney, Homer (Kelly), Dean, Gerry, Jenner.
