After the latest round of the MSA Pirelli National Gravel Championships - the Brick and Steel Border Counties Rally - Quinton Motor Club members hold top spots in the pinnacle series for off-road rally crews in the UK.

Quinton's leading co-driver Ian Allsop was reunited with regular driver Jon Ingram (pictured) in their Subaru Impreza WRC S11 and, although narrowly beaten into second by multiple Scottish Champion Barry Johnson, their performance has ensured they lead the Championship's points' table after two rounds.

Less fortunate were another Quinton crew - Sebastian Ling and Aled Rees - who had made the long trek from south-west Wales to the Kielder Forest on the Scottish border. They left the road and went into instant retirement on stage one, dealing a serious blow to their aspirations in the Mitsubishi Ralliart Evo Challenge.

The next round of the Championship is the International Manx Rally in May.
