Dudley Town's new joint managers Dean Whitehouse and Dave Smith were happy with their team's performance away at Tipton last Saturday despite losing 3-2.

Fielding a mix of first teamers and trialists, the Robins made their presence felt and dominated much of the first half. Going into the break with the score level at 1-1, both teams made several changes to their line-ups and Tipton, fielding mostly first team players went 3-1 within 20 minutes of the second half.

Former WBA youth playerDory Robinson pulled a goal back for the Robins and Justin Nisbit created several chances to draw level but was unable to find that finishing touch.

The impressive Nisbit, however, will be leaving the club to play professional football in Cyprus.

Town will now prepare to sample life at their new Dell Stadium for the first time when they host Oldbury Town on Wednesday July 25 July (7.30pm kick off) and Alvechurch on Saturday July 28 (3pm kick off).

The Robins final friendly ahead of the kick off in the West Midlands Premier Division on August 11 will be away at Heath Town Rangers on August 4.
