Unbeaten Tividale will hope to take their super September form with them this month as they start a tough run of fixtures at home to Goodrich.

Manager Ross Hill has guided the Beeches outfit to second in the West Midlands Premier Division after going through the first 10 league games undefeated.

They finished September with an impressive 4-1 home win over Ledbury thanks to goals from Lee Onions, Luke Reynolds, Dave Brown and Nicky Dodds.

Hill said: "It was a good home win because it's always key to have a good home record and it's one we must continue to build on."

The triumph means they are now three points behind table topping Bridgnorth with a game in hand.

The boss is now keen to see his team build on their impressive start to the campaign starting on Saturday before they visit the league leaders and then host near rivals Dudley Town.

He said: "October is a big month for us because we've got some really tough fixtures coming up, starting with a resurgent Goodrich.

"We have made a tremendous start to the season and we must now maintain that.

"We will not be getting carried away with ourselves and will not be looking to far ahead but instead taking it one game at a time."

The manager has also been boosted by good news from the physios room with only goalkeeper Chris Walywne and Josh Skidmore still out of action.

Hill as also been able to add to his squad with the acquisition of right winger Sean Reynolds from Shawbury United.

Dudley Town will go into their big borough derby away at Lye on Saturday buoyed by a morale boosting 4-2 win at bottom of the table Bromyard.

Goals from Kuli Shoker, Ian Rowe and double from debutant Jordan Tipper secured the win for the Robins who had been rocked after falling a goal behind early on.

Manager Dean Whitehouse was pleased with his inexperienced side's performance considering they had been beaten 4-0 at home to AFC Wulfrunians last Wednesday.

He said: "It was a good away win and we showed good bottle not just to bounce back from our midweek defeat but also the fact we fell a goal behind on Saturday.

"I was impressed with the way we played and in particularly with Jordan (Tipper) who came in a did a great job for us considering he's come from Sunday football."

The boss is now preparing his troops for the clash with Lye at Stourbridge Road.

Lye have an impressive record over Dudley in recent times and Whitehouse is eager to see his men turn the table on their near neighbours and record back to back wins in the West Midlands Premier Division.

Dudley Sports recorded an excellent 3-0 victory over a high flying Bewdley Town outfit.

Sports produced a great all round performance at Hillcrest Avenue with Anthony Cox, Lee Lough and Grant Joshua all getting on the scoresheet in the West Midlands Premier Division encounter.

Dudley will now hope to take this form with them when they travel to another in-form side AFC Wulfs on Saturday (3pm kick off).
