Happy memories
 |
| Planning ahead: Causeway United manager Carl Burley (right) and assistant Andy Mole. |
Causeway will kick-off their FA Vase crusade on Saturday away at Alvechurch in high spirits after reaching the last 16 in prestigious competition last season.
United have entered the Vase in Round Two due to their amazing exploits last time round which saw them make it through to the last 16.
Chairman Steve Hulston is hoping his young charges to go on a similar run this time around.
He said: "We will go into the Alvechurch game full of confidence, but we know it will be a tough game as it's at their place and the y are currently above us in the league.
"We are all looking forward to the match because we had a great time last season where we made it through to the last 16 so we have some good memories of this competition.
"As we did last year we will do it properly and go for a pre match meal and meeting to give ourselves the best possible chance of progressing."
Causeway will be buoyed by their current league form which has seen them pick up the team of the month award for October in the Midland Alliance.
This good run of results as continued into November with them picking up a comprehensive 4-1 win at home to Coventry Sphinx on Saturday.
