United home in
Promotion-chasing Causeway United are anticipating their largest crowd of the season this Saturday when league leaders Atherstone Town visit the War Memorial Ground for a mouth-watering Midland Alliance clash.
With the visitors set to be backed by a large travelling support, it is hoped the home crowd will be bolstered as their 'landlords' Stourbridge are without a match.
Manager Carl Burley can't wait for the game and believes their excellent home record could be a key to their promotion credentials.
He said: "We have lost only one game at home in the league this season and that was against Tipton back in September.
"We still have seven games to play at Amblecote against the likes of Atherstone, Loughborough and Alvechurch and that could see us make a big move for a promotion spot."
United will go into the top-of-the table fixture on the back of a hard fought 2-1 win over visiting Stapenhill last Saturday thanks to goals from Chris Field and Jonathan Neate.
