Super Stourbridge FC made it a sensational seven wins on the bounce after a scinitilating 2-0 win away at BGB Midlands Division One leaders Leamington on Tuesday but boss Gary Hackett will be keeping his players' feet firmly on the ground.
The Glassboys have been unstoppable in recent weeks and following Saturday's 8-1 home win against Cinderford they produced their best performance of the season to defeat Leamington to move into third position.
Hackett, who did not push the panic button when his side made a poor start to the campaign, will now not get carried away with his side's rapid rise up the table.
He said: "I will not get carried away and neither will the players.
"It's still early days in the season and we must keep this run going."
To the disappointment of the manager the Glassboys will be without a game this Saturday due to Evesham's involvement in the FA Trophy.
Stourbridge will be back in action next Tuesday though when they welcome the "Harlem Globetrotters of non-league football "in the guise of bitter rivals Halesowen Town in the Worcestershire Senior Cup.
This is a game Hackett is looking forward to as he pits his wits against new Yeltz boss Morrell Maison and his football consultant Ron Atkinson.
The manager hopes the visit of Big Ron to the War Memorial along with a new look Halesowen team featuring former Premiership players Darren Caskey and Zema Abbey will lead to a bumper attendance.
He said: "This is a game I'm very much looking forward to because Halesowen Town are like the Harlem Globetrotters of non league football at the minute.
"Add to that the visit of big Ron and the fact it's a local derby all adds up to a very exciting clash, so it would be great to have a big crowd to cheer us on."
The match could see new signing Gavin Winsper make his debut after he was snapped up from Romulus.
Meanwhile his former club, Causeway United, are celebrating after making it through to the third round of the FA Vase following a 1-0 replay win over Alvechurch.
United will now face Boston Town at the War Memorial next month.
Before that they return to Midland Alliance on Saturday when travel to big spending Shifnal.
